| An experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist is required to cover maternity leave for one of our team of therapists working in the North Hampshire area and Basingstoke surroundings. The caseload to be covered concentrates on children in primary mainstream schools who are diagnosed with Developmental Co-ordination Disorders and the associated difficulties they often present with. You would work as part of our Integrated Service in the community from an office base in the Acute Hospital. Management of this group is through school/home/nursery visits and assessment clinics as appropriate. You would be made most welcome as part of our team working with physio therapists/play specialists, school health nurses and other colleagues in child health. We have excellent working relationships with Education Service staff. The position offers educational and clinical support and CPD is actively encouraged with a strong programme of multi-professional in service training and development activity. Access to a car for business purposes and a clean UK driving licence is essential. | |||
