Staff Nurse Intensive Care Unit Band 5 Elective 251-CC2041

We support a comprehensive Critical Care learning programme to ensure your continuous professional development.. Our Critical Care Unit consists of an Intensive Care which is a 8 bedded unit accommodating both level 2 and 3 patients and a separate High Dependency Unit of 3 beds As a team, we are responsible for and committed to delivering high quality care, focusing on the individual needs of surgical, medical, trauma and neurological patients and their relatives. We are looking for both Nursing staff with experience within a Critical Care environment and Nursing staff with post registration experience. The ENB 100 Nursing course, Critical Care Module or an accredited High Dependency Course are preferred but not essential. Rotation to the Intensive Care Unit and High Dependency Unit will be offered. ELECTIVE DIVISION Diagnosis and Treatment Centre Registered Nurse: Ward Services – Band 5 21 hours per week An opportunity has arisen to join our friendly, hard working and dynamic DTC team. We are looking to recruit a staff nurse to work in all of the ward services of the DTC; this includes recovery, pre-op lounge, discharge lounge, pre-assessment clinics and the ward. The DTC comprises of 5 theatres and caters for all types of surgery from ENT, Urology, General Surgery, all types of Endoscopy, Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Oral Facial, Chronic Pain so we can offer the successful candidate a wide range of experiences. We are looking for someone who is flexible in their approach to the way they work and is willing to work as part of a dynamic, innovative team. We are constantly looking for ways to improve our services and move forward with innovative and new procedures such as green light lasers for prostatectomy’s and blue light cystoscopies to name a few! We have a commitment to develop our staff and provide opportunities for staff development and training. We are looking for staff who are keen and motivated to join our team.
