Maternity & Child Health Division
Maternity
The maternity service at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Foundation Trust is a friendly unit which aims to provide a high quality personal service for women and their families. We have a strong midwifery led model of care with approximately 3,000 births each year. We are currently implementing plans to deliver the Maternity Matters strategy and have plans underway to set up a midwifery led birth centre. We work closely with obstetricians and neonatologists to provide care for women with complex needs. The maternity team is a friendly group of people who are committed to having a happy working environment and delivering the best care to women and their families. We are committed to staff development and have a strong model of midwifery supervision. If you want to work with a lovely team of people then come, have a tour, listen to our plans and most importantly meet the staff.
