Emergency Division
As Head of Nursing for the Emergency Division I welcome you to read more about our areas.

Included within the Division are the following wards and departments:

• Emergency Department
• Medical assessment unit
• Coronary care unit
• Cardiology ward
• Angiography and interventional radiology unit
• Respiratory ward
• Gastroenterology, endocrinology ward
• Isolation ward
• Acute Stoke unit
• Elderly care ward
• Trauma ward
• Elective orthopaedic ward
• Fracture clinic
• Pre assessment clinic

Each area has its own levels of expertise but as a Division we work closely sharing practice and supporting each other. We have a commitment to education and have appointed a Matron for education with a team of clinically based educators to work along side staff in the wards and departments to support their development.
